Friday

  • Arrive early afternoon via Ardross Farm Shop (pre-cooked meals, farm grown vegetables, luxury foods).

  • Walk around village (park, church and churchyard, Roomebay, Castle Walk, the harbour then back to house) - 60-90 minutes. If you have time, look round the little shops and galleries in Crail and visit Crail pottery.

  • Return to the Posthouse for a relaxing soak in our Victorian style tub, sip chilled prosecco in the cosy top floor library.

Saturday

  • Make the short drive (or take a bus) to Pittenweem to enjoy the lovely walk down to the working fishing harbour then west along the coloured cottages at the west end seafront. Depending on the time of day precede or follow this with a visit to the lovely Cocoa Tree chocolate shop and cafe where you can enjoy home made soup and cakes and make some delicious purchases.

  • In the evening either enjoy a pub meal at the Golf Hotel, an Indian in Anstruther or eat in and choose from our wide selection of DVDs.

Sunday

  • Have a lazy morning followed by a beach walk from Elie to St Monans (about 3 miles) before lunch at the lovely St Monans restaurant Craig Millar @ 16 West End.

  • Spend the afternoon exploring historic St Andrews or return to the Posthouse for a lazy Sunday afternoon with the papers and a good book.
